CHIVAY TO AREQUIPA
Passengers must arrive at our boarding point at 1:00 p.m. at Hotel La Pascana (Corner of the Inca Bridge Arch with XX Century No. 106 – main square of Chivay). The bus leaves at 1:15 p.m.
Our first stop is at the Mirador de Patapampa, located at 4900 MSNM, the view of the volcanoes Misti, Chachani, Sabancaya and Ampato is majestic, here you can see the Apachetas (in ancient times, travelers left those small stone towers as offerings to the gods to ensure their return safe and sound).
Later we will make another stop at the “El Chino” Restaurant located in Patawasi, where we offer passengers a snack and the traditional Coca tea, at this point they can also make use of the SS.HH, in addition to being able to buy handicrafts and souvenirs.
Our last stop will be in Pampa Cañahuas, located in the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, which is located behind the Chachani volcano, we will find vicunas, llamas and alpacas, with luck in the distance we could see foxes, guanacos or even pumas.
Finally, we will enter the city of Arequipa between approximately 4:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., transfer to your hotel is included. (hotels located in the historic center of the city).
